Laid flat, a pound of dried moss covers about 10 square feet. Dressed thick for events, it covers less. Here is the honest math.
The decor size. Terrariums, wreaths, centerpieces, plant toppers, and craft work. A bag is the right amount for a 14 inch wreath, a few centerpieces, or a run of terrariums.
The event size. About 30 square feet laid flat, or one full ceremony arch dressed the way you see in our videos, or an 8 foot table runner with moss left over.

Flat coverage is a measured figure. Arch, runner, and wreath figures are our working estimates, and we say so rather than dress them up. When in doubt, order the larger size. Moss keeps.
Why Processed & Dried
Spanish moss is a wild plant — spiders, mites, redbugs, and earwigs call it home. Fine in the trees of Savannah. Less welcome in your wedding venue, terrarium, or anywhere near children and pets.
Every batch is heat-treated before it leaves Savannah, then fully air-dried. No mold risk in transit. No unwanted guests at delivery. Pure moss — nothing else.
Live moss arrives as it left the tree — with everything living in it. Ours doesn't. That's the difference between a wild plant and a finished product.
